Meet Jodi & Sophie – Founders of Rise Wellness Club

Rise Wellness Club was born from the shared passion and vision of Jodi and Sophie—two friends with a deep-rooted belief in the power of movement, connection, and self-care. With backgrounds in health, fitness, and wellbeing, they came together with one mission: to create a welcoming space where everyone feels supported on their wellness journey.

Driven by the idea of community over competition, they’ve built Rise as more than just a studio—it’s a space to breathe, move, and rise together. Whether you’re stepping onto the mat for the first time or deepening your practice, Jodi and Sophie are here to welcome you into a warm, uplifting environment designed to nourish both body and mind.

After working as a Personal Trainer for several years, becoming a parent shifted my priorities and perspective. I found myself drawn to reformer pilates, not just as a gentle form of movement, but as a way to reconnect with my mind and body. It offered the space to slow down, breathe, and create the wellness space I always dreamed of.

It offered the space to slow down, breathe, and create the wellness space I always dreamed of.

I love bringing people together and helping people have mindset shifts so I cant wait to get teaching, learning and meeting new people.

From dancing since age 3, movement has always been part of who I am. I fell in love with Pilates for the way it strengthens not just the body, but the mind and soul too. Now, as a pilates instructor, I am passionate about sharing that connection with others, helping you move with purpose, feel stronger and find balance from the inside out

I began my movement journey with eight years of competitive gymnastics, which gave me a strong foundation in strength, discipline, and body awareness. After completing a degree in Sport & Exercise Science and qualifying as a Level 3 personal trainer, I discovered Pilates and instantly found it brought together everything I loved about mov

I began my movement journey with eight years of competitive gymnastics, which gave me a strong foundation in strength, discipline, and body awareness. After completing a degree in Sport & Exercise Science and qualifying as a Level 3 personal trainer, I discovered Pilates and instantly found it brought together everything I loved about movement and fitness. 

Now fully certified in both Mat and Reformer Pilates, I’m passionate about helping others feel strong, balanced, and confident in their own bodies through Pilates.

When I’m not on the reformer, you’ll usually find me out walking with my two dogs or chasing new PB’s on a run!

Amy's passion for fitness began with her love for gymnastics, a sport which she practiced and competed in for eight years.

Her experience inspired her to become a personal trainer and sports massage therapist, where she could help others develop their own love for fitness.

Over time, she discovered that Pilates is the perfect mix of strengt

Amy's passion for fitness began with her love for gymnastics, a sport which she practiced and competed in for eight years.

Her experience inspired her to become a personal trainer and sports massage therapist, where she could help others develop their own love for fitness.

Over time, she discovered that Pilates is the perfect mix of strength, mobility, and injury prevention. Amy dug straight in to pursue a career in Mat and Reformer Pilates. 

Her classes blend strength and energy with a focus on body awareness, confidence, and finding joy in movement. Whether it’s a slow burn or a fiery session, Amy’s aim is always to help everyone feel strong and balanced.

You can expect you can join her for some fun filled and spicy classes soon.I love bringing people together and helping people have mindset shifts so I cant wait to get teaching, learning and meeting new people.
